Tailing Tales Charters focuses on fishing the lower Tampa Bay and the surrounding estuaries. Charters are in the nearby areas of Manatee County.

Captain Kris Winkel has extensive knowledge and experience for fishing this area having lived and fished here all his life. When fishing with Captain Kris you will target a variety of species including Snapper, Tarpon, Grouper, Red Fish, Trout, Triple Tail and the infamous "Snook."

All levels are invited to join Capt. Kris on a fishing expedition, from beginners to experienced, if you can hold a pole (or not), you are welcome to come along. Some of my best fishermen/ladies have been 5 years old and up. Making your memories is what drives me to always take it to the next level. Remember, if a particular species isn't cooperating that day, there is something else always biting in these waters.

Come aboard Tailing Tales 21 foot skiff and see where the good times start. Capt. Kris uses all top-notch products and gear so the fish are hooked. The rest is up to you! There will be plenty of ice to keep your catch fresh and I will personally clean and bag your catch for you. Bait will be ready and waiting when you board including shiners, threadfins and pinfish, or you can have the option of riding along and seeing how catching bait is done.
